		<description>I think you&#039;re right, it does sound drastic.  In my case as a result of childhood sex abuse, it&#039;s hard to be with folks that deny sex abuse, especially in certain religious circles.</description>

		<description>The whole idea of cutting people out is interesting...I don&#039;t think most of us are comfortable doing it, for any number of reasons.  It feels very final and drastic, and we are so conditioned to &quot;get along&quot; with others that making a clean break is difficult.  

Seeing others as &quot;toxic&quot; makes the question a bit more serious though, in that it implies the other may be not just annoying, but harming me. Ignoring has always worked for me but I wonder if thst doesn&#039;t really just disrespect everyone involved.</description>
