Thanks Bernie, the air has finally cleared here, but emotionally it threw me back a little feeling that helpless.

Brings a whole different meaning to "Smoke on the Water." I'm good with adversity as long as I know it's going to pass. It's when I don't know when I start to lose my grip. That's true on so many levels. I wish I could redirect the jet stream for you or send some of our Sotheastern 'frog-stranglers'your way.

What a way to shake the foundations. Glad you are finding the silver lining of the smoke cloud, and being grateful for the moments.

Still, I hope external control returns and the air clears.

It sounds like oddly good practice, Jeff. I've actually always relished the ways crises can take us outside of ourselves. At a smaller level but similarly, I loved finals week in college because no one was operating in their usual way. Times of great stress like this can peel away the masks that many people wear during the "normal" times. For those of us who wear fewer masks or are more aware of them, this can be rather refreshing. Sorry, though, that so much mess and loss is involved. I hope you and your family remain safe. - J.
